Some of the best models in life motivate us to strive for the stars, but they still appreciate the positivity and love that can be found near home. For young Maggie, nobody meets the requirements better than NASA astronaut Leland Melvin.
A few years ago, Melvin sat down at his official portrait. Two dogs, Jake and the Boy Scout, called for a photograph. The image of Melvin and his dogs was so touching that it soon changed.
Melvin later wrote: “The adoption of Jake and the Scouts taught me to go with the flow and enjoy the unexpected.” Coming from a man who was in space, it was perfect for his dogs.
Even at the age of four, Maggie from Virginia was inspired by Melvin's contribution to science.
She was also impressed with the devotion of his dogs and decided to honor him. Maggie decides to recolor Melvin's famous image by putting on her clothes in the form of files and including her dog for a photo.
Maggie's father, Andrew Miller, wrote this short conversation with this daughter. "Who do you want to be on Halloween?" Her father asked. Maggie replied: “This is a funny astronaut. Understand, girl! ” Maggie's father answered.
The image of Maggie became ubiquitous, as did the image of Melvin at that time.
