Deputy Hart of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office was on duty near a homeless camp when he heard a moan nearby. He quickly discovered a lovely little puppy on his own, without food or water. The puppy has apparently been abandoned here by its previous owner in order to fend for itself.
The puppy was starving and dehydrated, so Deputy Hart did not hesitate to pick up the little man to get him to safety. The puppy cuddled to the rescuer while he was taking him for a vet examination.

Had it not been for Deputy Hart's gentle demeanor that day, this pup's condition would have worsened. This is a happy second chance in life!
