Kind Woman Was Driving Stopped To Help A Poor Dog Thrown From Overpass

Thank you for kind gesture

A woman was driving her car on a freeway in Portland, Oregon, when she saw something being thrown over a bridge. At first it looked like a suitcase, but soon enough she realized it was a pit bull. She immediately stopped and called her daughter April Els.

April works in a vet, so mom brought the dog there. The poor dog had a broken bone and torn ligaments and had to undergo extensive surgery to fix it. The Els family started raising money and they succeed!

The family established a special relationship with the dog they named Hank and decided to adopt! Hank is also a symbol of April Eles's daughter, who attempted suicide by jumping off a bridge last year but fortunately survived.

“So, we can’t just give up on him,” April told KPTV . “They both have made it. And my own daughter had surgery again today and he had surgery last week, so I just feel like they just for whatever reason… there’s this parallel and he came into our lives for a reason, and my mom just said we’re not giving up on him.”
